It’s been one year since so many of you participated in our gala to recognize the 20th anniversary of Travis’ injury. We want to remind you how greatly we appreciate all the support you have continued to show the Foundation.
We raised $1M at last year’s event; that money has gone back to support more than 350 spinal cord injured survivors with adaptive equipment like computers to help them stay connected with the outside world, ramps to get them in and out of their homes, vehicle modifications to allow them to go back to work, and more. Half of that money has also gone toward our research programs, where someday, somehow we know we will help find a breakthrough. We hope this article can serve as a reminder of how this event – and this Foundation – came to be, and how fortunate we are to have your support.
