Women’s Beanpot Charity Hockey Challenge

**The player roster is now full, but please come watch the games.**  On February 12, 2019 the Travis Roy Foundation will host the 2nd Annual Women’s Beanpot Charity Hockey Challenge. This charity fundraiser is a “pickup” hockey game at Boston University’s Agganis Arena, followed by event participants reconvening at Harvard University’s Bright Landry Arena to enjoy watching the 41st Women’s Beanpot Championship game.  All proceeds from this charity game will benefit the Travis Roy Foundation to help fund spinal cord injury (SCI) research and adaptive equipment grants for SCI survivors.

Women 21-and-over with A,B,C, or D-level hockey experience are encouraged to play in this fun charity event. Players are asked to raise a minimum of $500 through personalized online fundraising pages benefiting the Travis Roy Foundation. Participants are encouraged to share their fundraising page with family, friends, and coworkers to meet the $500 fundraising requirement. In our inaugural event in 2018, 24 women raised $22,266.01.

The schedule for the day will be as follows:

3:45 pm                 Legends Game

5:05 pm                 Young Guns Game

7:00 pm                 Dinner at Harvard’s Bright Landry Arena

8:00 pm                 Women’s Beanpot Final
