Charity Beanpot Challenge

charity beanpot challengeOn Monday, February 13, 2017 the Travis Roy Foundation and the Mark Bavis Leadership Foundation will host the 9th Annual Charity Beanpot Challenge (CBC). This event will consist of adult hockey players of all abilities, who play in one of three pickup hockey games at Boston University’s Agganis Arena.  For the first time, we will have a “Young Guns” game of young business professionals as we look to develop the next generation of CBC participants. Following the games, each player will receive a ticket to the Garden View Suite to enjoy food, beverage, and of course the Beanpot final. Participants will also receive custom, NHL style CCM hockey gloves and a Reebok game jersey and socks.

The 2016 event raised over $210,000 bringing the grand total of this marquee event to over $1.4M.  If you are interested in playing in the 2017 Charity Beanpot Challenge, or would like more information, please send us a note at

Thank you to all of our past and present participants. We’d also like to thank Reebok for their continued support.   A special thanks to Dan Busler who continues to volunteer his time to take great photos and videos of all our events.

*Young Gun participants will receive a standard ticket to the Beanpot
