About Our Team, Curse Lifted Generations

Every year in August, the Travis Roy Foundation WIFFLE Ball Tournament takes place in the former backyard of Essex natives Pat and Beth O’Connor. It is there that 32 teams play on Little Fenway and Little Wrigley (quarter-scale replicas of the century-old major league parks) and Little Field of Dreams (modeled after the cornfield ballpark in Dyersville, Iowa that was the site of the 1989 movie Field of Dreams).

The WIFFLE Ball Tournament is the Travis Roy Foundation’s largest fundraiser.

The August 2019 tournament fundraising effort was a record-breaker, bringing in more than $750,000!

Our team, the Curse Lifted Generations, takes part in this tournament every year and the Wine Tasting is one of our fundraisers.

We hope that you will join us for a night of fun for a great cause!
