Since its inception in 1997, the Foundation
has helped improve the quality of life for
individuals with spinal cord injuries.
Examples include:

Grants to assist in van purchases

Modifications to existing vehicles

Upgrades and maintenance for wheelchairs

Purchase of shower chairs

Ramp and elevator installations
In addition to the individual grants,
approximately half of the Foundation's
awards go
to support research into an eventual cure
to spinal cord paralysis. This goal, which
is within reach, is the long-term
answer to the survivors of paralysis.
Adaptive equipment
can make a huge difference in the every day lives of individuals
living with a
disability. With your help, the Foundation
