Travis Roy's Artwork On Display As Part of

"Generation to Generation: A New England Legacy" Exhibit

Using a paint brush clenched between his teeth, Travis Roy has become an accomplished painter in the eight years since a hockey accident left him a quadriplegic. Roy began painting in 1995 as therapy during rehabilitation at Atlanta's Shepherd Center and has studied for five years under Susan Myer Fahlgren, North Yarmouth Academy's fine arts department chairperson. Roy, an NYA alumnus, is shown here in front of  several of his paintings which were included in the school's  "Generation to Generation: A New England Legacy" Exhibit in September 2003.
